"It’s great to ride in this jersey. More people recognise me and cheer me on… Today was definitely the easiest day to keep it. So tomorrow, I’ll be in the blue polka-dot jersey again, and that’s cool.

Tomorrow, if I want to be in control of my own destiny and keep it, I’ll have to be in the breakaway. It’s going to be a big battle. I’ll have to be smart, hope to get the green light and slip into the breakaway."
